Overview

Send bulk SMS messages to invite guests to RSVP for your event or to provide them with confirmation links and QR codes. Diobox allows users to send, manage, track, and resend text messages, making it a useful tool for event communication.

Key Features

Creating and Sending Messages

Users can create new text messages from the platform by selecting templates or composing custom messages. Messages can be targeted based on guest confirmation status, custom segments, guest lists, and more. Users can preview messages and send test texts before sending them to guests.

Resending Messages to Additional Guests

If an event organizer needs to send a previously sent text to additional guests, they can do so by selecting the existing message from their guest's profile and resending it. This is particularly useful for last-minute notifications and important updates.

This feature is also available in the iOS app, allowing users to send out messages directly from the app.

Tracking Text Message Status

Diobox offers detailed tracking of text messages post-sending. Users can access insights on message delivery statuses, including:

  • Sent: Message has been dispatched but delivery is pending confirmation.

  • Delivered: Successfully received by the recipient’s carrier or phone.

  • Undelivered: Failed to reach the recipient due to carrier restrictions or phone availability.

  • Failed: The message was not sent due to technical reasons or account limitations. Organizers can also filter reports by status and export delivery data for further analysis.

Conclusion

Diobox’s text messaging functionality simplifies event communication by providing a reliable and structured way to engage with guests. From initial message preparation to tracking delivery, Diobox ensures seamless messaging for event organizers looking to keep attendees informed and engaged.
