By default, QR codes are automatically generated and sent when a guest registers, confirms an RSVP, or purchases a ticket. They appear on confirmation pages and are included in automated emails, with no setup required.
If a guest does not have a ticket or RSVP, such as when using an external registration tool, you can still generate and send QR codes manually.
Prerequisite
Ensure the guest’s confirmation status is set to Confirmed. QR codes are only generated for confirmed guests. This can be updated individually or in bulk.
Ways to Send QR Codes
Once guests are confirmed, QR codes can be distributed using the following methods:
Send an Email with a QR Code
Use the Email Builder to create and send customized emails that include QR codes.
Create a new email campaign and select a template from the Confirmations & Reminders category.
A QR code is included on the email template. As a result, each guest will receive a unique QR code tied to their profile, which can be scanned at check-in.
Templates can be fully customized.

Each message includes a personalized link or QR code that the guest can use for check-in.

Send a Smart Reminder
A Smart Reminder is a pre-configured email that includes event details, guest status, and a QR code for confirmed guests. No setup is required.
Send to a Single Guest
Open the guest profile, click the Options menu, and select Send Smart Reminder.
Update the subject if needed, then send the email.
Send to Multiple Guests
On web, select guests using the checkmarks next to their names.
On iOS, press and hold a guest to enter multi-select mode, then select additional guests.
Click Send Smart Reminder to send in bulk.
Share the Confirmation Page
Each guest has a hosted confirmation page that includes their QR code and event details. You can share this link through any external messaging tool.
To access an individual guest’s link, open the guest profile, click the Options menu, and select View Guest Links. Then choose either the Guest Portal or Dedicated QR page.
To access links for all guests, export the guest list. The confirmation page URL is included in the Guest URL column of the CSV file.
