Designing the Event Portal

Brand your Event Portal with your logo, images, colors and event details.

Give your Event Portal a consistent look that matches your brand. Guests see your design before, during and after the event, on every form, confirmation page and Portal page. Each event has its own design.

Your design applies to the Event Header at the top of every Event Portal page. To see how each page looks to guests, see Understanding the Event Portal.

Previewing Your Design

The Portal → Design page shows a live preview of your Event Portal. Use the Preview menu to switch between pages:

  • Form Selection Page

  • Guest Confirmation Page

  • Registration Form

  • Ticket Form

  • RSVP Form

  • Waitlist Form

  • Survey Form

Use the desktop and mobile icons next to the menu to see how each page looks on a computer or a phone.

Choosing a Color Theme

Open the Color Theme menu and choose a preset theme.

To use your own colors, select Customize. Then set each color: Primary Color, Top Nav Background, Top Nav Text and Page Background.

Click Save at the top of the page to apply your changes, or Cancel to discard them.

Editing Page Sections

Each section of the preview has an Edit button on the right. Click Edit to change that section.

Page Logo

Your logo appears at the top of every Event Portal page.

  • Recommended size: 320 x 132 px

  • File types: PNG or JPG, up to 1 MB

  • A PNG with a transparent background works best

Adding a Page Logo requires a Corporate plan or higher.

Page Header

Text shown below the logo, usually your organization's name. On pages personalized for a guest, the upper-right corner of the header also shows the guest menu, where guests can view their Guest Portal, edit their profile and manage their communication preferences.

Event Image & Video

Add an image that reflects your event and theme. You can also add a YouTube or Vimeo video, which replaces the image at the top of the page.

Public Event Title

The event name shown to guests. Use it when the name guests see should differ from your internal event name. The Public Event Title also appears in confirmation emails.

Event Details

Shows the event date, time and location by default. You can edit or add details. These changes only affect what guests see. They do not change your event's actual date, time or location.

Map Link

Shows a View Map link to Google Maps based on your event address. You can replace it with your own link.

Diobox Branding

Shows the "Powered by Diobox" logo and link at the bottom of the page. Hiding Diobox branding requires a Corporate plan or higher.
