Registration Form on the Event Website

Updated this week

The main call to action button on your event website can link to any registration form you have created for your event. This button is typically displayed in the Hero section and is used to direct visitors to register, purchase tickets, or join a waitlist.

To configure the button behavior, select Registration Button in the Hero Options section.

Control How Forms Appear on Your Event Page

Under Registration Button settings, you can choose how forms are presented to visitors.

Hide Button

Removes the registration button from the event page. Use this if registration is closed, managed externally, or if the website is being used for informational purposes only, such as sharing details about speakers, agenda, location, or event highlights.

Open a Single Form

Select a specific form from the dropdown menu. When visitors click the button, they are taken directly to that form.

This is ideal when you want to guide all traffic to one primary registration or ticket type.

Show Multiple Forms

Displays all public forms directly on the event page. Visitors can complete more than one form in a single session.

This option is useful when:

  • You are selling multiple ticket types and want guests to choose quantities for each

  • You have separate forms for different sessions, roles, or registration paths

  • You want to offer registration, tickets, and waitlist options together

To exclude a form from appearing, set its visibility to Private in the form settings.

Form Requirements and Limitations

For a form to appear on the event website:

  • It must be marked as Public. This setting is available under Form Attributes, in the Visibility field. See the Registration Forms Help Section for details.

  • It must support a direct link. Only the following form types support direct links:

    • Registration

    • Tickets

    • Waitlist

RSVP and Survey forms do not support this feature because their links are generated uniquely for each guest.

If you want to limit registration to invited guests only, you can still use a Registration form with Restriction Settings.

Customize the Registration Button

On the same Registration Button settings screen, you can update:

  • The button label

  • The button color

This allows you to align the call to action with your event branding and messaging.

Where Registrations Take Place

All forms accessed from your event website connect to the Guest Portal, where registration and checkout are completed.

To customize the look and feel of that experience, see the article on Customizing the Guest Portal Style.
