Managing Forms
Updated over a week ago

When you create a new event on Diobox, a default set of forms is automatically created for you. Depending on the specific needs of your event, you may find it necessary to create additional forms or modify existing ones. This guide covers the following key processes:

Creating a New Form

To begin creating a new form, simply click the + Form button located in the upper-right corner of your page. This action will prompt you to choose the type of form you wish to create, guiding you through the setup process.

Editing a Form

To edit an existing form, select the form you wish to modify and click on the Options menu. Clicking Edit will transition you into Form Builder mode, where you can customize the form’s attributes and functionality.

For detailed instructions on using the Form Builder, including changes to fields, content, style, and functionality, please refer to the article: Customizing Your Form.

Duplicating a Form

Duplicating a form is an efficient way to replicate its structure, including all fields, content, style, and functionality, while preserving the integrity of existing submissions. To duplicate a form, click the Options menu and choose Duplicate. The duplicated form will be generated with a new link.

Disabling or Deleting a Form

You can delete forms that don't have any submissions. To do so, select the form, click the Options menu to find the Delete option.

If a form has received submissions, it cannot be deleted; however, it can be disabled. Disabling a form renders it invisible to the public and will display a 'Form Not Found' error to anyone attempting to access it via its link. Disabled forms are marked with a red status indicator.

Sorting Forms

By default, forms are listed alphabetically by name. For events with many forms, additional sorting options are available to better manage the dashboard.

Click on the View dropdown menu on the upper-right hand side of the screen to find the additional sorting and grouping options:

  • Date Created (Ascending)

  • Date Created (Descending)

  • Form Name

  • Form Type

  • Form Visibly
