Tickets in Diobox are used to collect payments. If you are offering free attendance, use Registration Forms, which do not involve payment processing.

How Diobox Handles Ticket Payments
Diobox uses Stripe as the payment processor for all ticket sales.
When a guest purchases a ticket:
The payment is processed securely through Stripe
Stripe’s processing fee is deducted
Diobox’s ticketing fee is deducted
The remaining balance is deposited into your connected Stripe account
Funds typically settle to your bank account in about 2 business days, depending on your Stripe payout schedule and banking setup.
Diobox does not hold or delay your ticket revenue. All funds flow directly through your Stripe account.

Ticketing Fees
When a ticket is sold, two separate fees apply.
Stripe Processing Fee
Stripe charges a per transaction processing fee. In the United States, this is typically:
2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
Stripe fees vary by country and currency. Always refer to your Stripe dashboard for your exact rate.
Diobox Ticketing Fee
Diobox charges a ticketing fee based on the currency of the ticket.
Below are the current Diobox ticketing fees by currency:

Example
If you sell a $100 ticket in the United States:
Stripe fee: 2.9% + $0.30 = $3.20
Diobox fee: 2.5% + $0.70 = $3.20
Total fees: $6.40
Net payout: $93.60
These fees apply only to credit card ticket payments. They do not apply to cash payments processed through the Point of Sale integration in the Diobox iOS app.
Statement Descriptor
The statement descriptor is the business name that appears on your guest’s credit card or bank statement after a purchase.
Although tickets are sold through Diobox, payments are processed through your connected Stripe account. As a result:
The statement descriptor reflects your business name
It is controlled in your Stripe account settings
Diobox does not appear on your guest’s statement
You can manage your statement descriptor in your Stripe dashboard under:
Stripe → Account Settings → Public Details → Statement Descriptor
If guests have questions about a charge, they will see your business name as configured in Stripe.
Volume Discounts
If your annual ticketing volume exceeds $100,000, you may qualify for discounted Diobox ticketing rates. Reach out to the Diobox support team to discuss volume pricing options.
