Event Currency & Stripe Setup

Updated today

Before you start selling tickets, you need to define the currency for your event and connect the correct Stripe account. The currency you select will be used for all ticket prices, checkout transactions, and payment reports for that specific event.

Currency is set at the event level. This means each event can use a different currency and can be connected to a different Stripe account if needed.

Important

Once the first ticket is purchased, the event currency can no longer be changed. Make sure you confirm the correct currency before publishing and promoting your ticket sales.

Where to Set Your Event Currency

To set your event currency, go to:

Event Settings > Ticketing & Payments

Connecting to Stripe

Diobox uses Stripe to process payments. All ticket payments are deposited directly into your connected Stripe account, based on Stripe’s payout schedule.

If you already connected a Stripe account, it will appear as “Connected to Stripe” with the account name shown in the dropdown.

You can:

  • Select an existing connected Stripe account

  • Connect a new Stripe account

If you do not yet have a Stripe account, you can create one during the connection process.

Supported Currencies

Diobox supports multiple currencies in conjunction with Stripe. Available currencies depend on Stripe’s supported regions and settings.

For a full list of supported currencies and associated ticketing or processing fees, see the article:
