Check-In Analytics

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Diobox keeps all check-in activity synced across the web app and mobile devices, so you can monitor attendance in real time throughout your event.

You can view check-in data in several places:

Check-In Reports on iOS App

The iOS app includes a dedicated Check-In Reports view for monitoring activity as it happens. This feature is available in the Tools section of the app.

By default, the report displays all check-ins across sessions and devices, with the most recent activity shown at the top.

Analytics Panel

Pull up the panel from the bottom of the screen to view a breakdown of check-ins by session.

This shows both counts and percentages, so you can quickly understand how attendance is distributed across sessions.

Use the segment controls at the top of the panel to switch between:

  • Total Guests

  • Confirmed Guests

  • Arrived Only

Filters

Use the filter option in the upper right to narrow results by:

  • Event Activity (session)

  • Guest List

  • Team Member

This is useful when reviewing activity at specific entry points or for specific guest segments.

Sorting and Grouping

Use the arrow icon in the upper right to adjust how data is displayed.

You can:

  • Sort by time, ascending or descending

  • Group results by a selected field

For example, grouping by team member helps identify activity by device or check-in location when multiple entry points are used.

Real-Time Sync

All check-in activity updates in real time across devices. As guests are checked in, the report reflects changes immediately.

If a device is offline, only its local activity will appear until it reconnects and syncs. Refer to Synchronization and Offline Mode for more details.

Check-In Summary on the Event Dashboard

The Event Dashboard provides a high-level overview of guest breakdown, including:

  • Total guests by confirmation status

  • Number of guests checked in

  • Number of guests not checked in

List of Checked-In Guests

In the Guests section, you can view live lists based on check-in status.

Click the All Guests dropdown and select:

  • Checked In

  • Not Checked In

This allows you to quickly review who has arrived and who has not.

Export Check-Ins and Activities

For deeper analysis, you can export a full record of check-ins and event activities.

Go to the Guests tab, open the Guests dropdown in the upper right, and select Export Guests.

Select Activities to include detailed check-in data.

The export file includes the following fields:

  • Date and time of activity

  • Check-In Session or Event Activity

  • Internal notes saved on the guest profile

  • Team Member who performed the check-in

  • Guest profile fields such as name, email, company, and title

  • Guest confirmation details, including status and timing

  • Seat assignments, if applicable

  • Ticketing details such as ticket type, price, and total spend

  • Guest ID

  • Guest URL

Exports are generated as CSV files and emailed to the requesting team member.
