Diobox makes it easy to add multi-purpose QR codes to guest badges. These QR codes simplify event check-in, track guest activity, and enable networking by allowing guests to exchange contact information quickly.
Adding a QR Code to Guest Badges
All badge production is handled through the Diobox iOS app. You can design and customize badges for your events in just a few taps, without needing a computer. Badge templates include options for adding guest QR codes and event logos.
1) Open the iOS app and go to Tools > Badge Printing.
(2) Select a badge template that supports QR codes.
(3) Tap the edit icon on a badge to customize its design.
QR Codes for Contact Exchange
Beyond check-in and tracking, QR codes can also be used for contact exchange. Guests simply scan each other’s badges to share contact details instantly, removing the need for physical business cards.
No additional apps are required.
Guests use their phone’s built-in camera to scan a badge QR code.
The device prompts them to save the contact information directly to their address book.
Contact exchange is only supported on QR codes printed on badges. QR codes generated during registration do not support this feature.
