Export Data

Exporting guest, check-in, and ticket data to a CSV for external use

Updated over a week ago

Diobox offers several ways to export your guest, check-in, and ticketing data into a standard CSV document for external use. You can then open this file in any spreadsheet program, like Microsoft Excel for further analytics. When you export, the file is emailed to the team member address associated with your Diobox account.

Go to the Guests dropdown and select Export Guests.

You will then be presented with the following 4 options to export your data.

Option 1: Guest Data

This is the default option, which exports all of your guests and contains the most complete data fields, including:

  • All Guest Profile Fields - name, email, company, title, etc.

  • Guest Group - primary and plus-one indicators (if guest is in a group)

  • Guest Confirmation Info - guest list, confirmation status and confirmation time

  • Guest URL - link to the public guest confirmation page hosted by Diobox

  • Seat Information - table/row name and seat number

  • Check-In Time - timestamp of every guest check-in

  • Ticketing Details - ticket name, price, total event spend

  • Email Actions - total count of bounces, opens and clicks

  • Custom Invitation Questions - all questions/answers sent through email invites

  • Custom fields - any other custom fields originally imported

Option 2: Selected List

This option exports a specific guest list or a custom segment. It will include the same set of fields as the default export option (shown above).

Option 3: Ticket Orders

Exports ticket orders with the following fields:

  • Order Date

  • Customer Name

  • Customer Email

  • Tickets - the name of the ticket the guest purchased

  • Gross Sales - price of ticket purchased

  • Net Sales - profit after subtracting fees from Gross Sales

  • Payment - method of payment (free, cash, credit card)

  • Order Receipt - link to the guest’s order receipt

Option 4: Activities

This open generates all guest Check-Ins, corresponding Check-In Sessions as well as all the Note Activities. These notes keep track of guest confirmation changes and any manual notes your event team adds (for example, notes by the exhibitors). These Activities also track the names and email addresses of your team members who add the activity.

The export file is sorted by date/time, representing a chronological order of different event and guest activities.

  • Date

  • Check-In Session

  • Note Activity

  • Team Member - name and email of the team member who checked in the guest

  • All Guest Profile Fields - name, email, company, title, etc.

  • Guest Confirmation Info - guest list, confirmation status and confirmation time

  • Seat Information - table/row name and seat number

  • Ticketing Details - ticket name, price, total event spend

  • Guest URL - link to the public guest confirmation page hosted by Diobox

Export on iOS

You can also generate the same export options on the Diobox iPhone and iPad apps.

Go the Tools tab and then select Export.
