Diobox tickets include flexible settings that let you control how each ticket looks, behaves, and interacts with guests. From visibility and quantity limits to pricing and post purchase messaging, these options allow you to tailor each ticket type to your event’s needs.
To access ticket settings, go to Forms, select your ticket, then click More to view all available options.
Ticket Attributes
Each ticket includes a set of core attributes that define how it appears and functions.
Name and Description
The ticket name and description appear on the Guest Portal, form listing pages, and the purchase receipt. Use clear naming if you offer multiple ticket types such as General Admission, VIP, or Early Bird.
Visibility
Tickets are public by default and appear on the Guest Portal and form listing page.
If you set a ticket to private, it will only be accessible through a direct link. This is useful for VIP tickets, internal registrations, or partner access.
Closing Time
By default, tickets close at the start time of your event and display a “Sale Ended” message on the form.
You can set a custom closing date and time. Leave this field blank if you want the ticket to remain open without a defined end time.
Quantity
Define how many tickets are available for this specific ticket type. When the quantity is reached, the ticket status updates to “Sold Out.”
If you leave this field blank, the ticket will have no quantity limit.
Max per Order
Set the maximum number of tickets a guest can purchase in a single transaction. The default is 10.
If Deferred Guest Registrations is enabled, guests can complete purchase first and enter attendee details later, which simplifies bulk purchases.
Guest Creation and Restriction Settings
Control how guests are added to your event, including duplicate prevention and invite only access.

Ticket Pricing Options
Each ticket can be configured with one of two pricing structures.
Regular Pricing
Set a fixed price for the ticket. This is the standard option for most paid events.
Variable Pricing
Allow guests to enter their own amount. This is commonly used for donations or pay what you wish models.
Post Purchase Settings
Control what happens after a ticket is successfully purchased.
Submission Message
Customize the confirmation message shown on the success page. You can include next steps, event details, or special instructions.
Email Confirmation
Enable or disable automated email receipts for this specific ticket.
There is also a global setting under Forms → Style & Configuration → Email Responders that can disable all automated email responses across the event.
Edit Messaging
You can customize the text that appears throughout the ticket form experience. This includes:
Button labels
Field labels
Success messages
Error messages
This is especially helpful if you want to adjust tone, align with your brand voice, or translate the form into another language.
To customize these messages, select your ticket, then click More → Edit Messaging.
Embed Ticket
Diobox allows you to embed your ticket purchase flow directly into your external website. This keeps guests on your site while securely processing payments through Diobox.
Embedding is ideal if you want to maintain a fully branded experience while still using Diobox ticketing and payment infrastructure.
